My New Skincare Routine: Rodan + Fields

By August 17, 2015

I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve been pretty lucky with my skin. In high school I missed the acne boat (thank god!), and in my twenties and thirties, I mostly just had blackheads and uneven skin tone, with minimal wrinkles. Nothing basic care couldn’t handle. Now enter my early forties (I know, I know, I don’t look a day over 34!) and it’s a WHOLE different ballgame.

Having moved from moisture-rich San Francisco, to arid and extremely sunny Denver, my skin has taken a beating. Add to that some prescription medicine that makes me extremely sensitive to the sun, and it’s a recipe for enhanced wrinkles, dry, bumpy skin and loss of firmness. BOO. I knew I needed to get serious about my skin care routine.

Enter my friend Deanna. She’s a independent consultant for Rodan + Fields … I’d been seeing her client before and after posts and was getting more and more intrigued. I mean, who doesn’t want noticeably firmer, smoother skin? I know I do. She suggested I give the REDEFINE line a try.

So I’m excited to report that I’ll be documenting my new skin care routine, using Rodan + Fields. I’ll be sharing what is working, any struggles (like me, sticking to a routine) and of course, will be sharing my 30 and 60 day results on the blog! Below I’m sheepishly sharing my closeups – try not to be jealous y’all. Oh, and ignore that rudolph nose. Said medication + 10,000 feet vacation in Breckenridge = killer sunburn. Awesome.

Products I’ll be using:
Redefine Regime:  I use this morning and evening
Eye Cream  Also, morning and night
Hand Treatment   I use this 1-2x daily
Micro-Dermabrasion Paste  I have some samples of this (it is the bomb!)

Be sure to follow along! and if you’re an R+F user, I’d love to hear and see your results!
