When Things Don’t Add Up…Subtract

By August 29, 2014

Friends, it’s #FlashbackFriday and we’re revisiting some good advice Heidi shared a little over a year ago. What a difference a year makes! Noe has made her entrance, Evan is a big boy, and Heidi is settled nicely in Denver. I love this piece of wisdom…if only I could figure out how to implement it!

+ + + +

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! We stayed blissfully secluded – opting for a (very) low-key staycation. I think I could use a few more of those. Having some quiet time with the family highlighted the driving point that I need to start subtracting some things in my life for things to start adding up!!

June in particular is going to be my busiest month at Spitfiregirl. We’re talking lots of deadlines, appointments and a much needed family vacation (a real one this time!) in between. Add to that Ev’s transition to preschool in July, more deadlines and well, are you feeling me yet?

So the reason for my ramble is that things will be slowing down here on the blog a bit this summer. We are still interviewing candidates for the blog internship, so until that is filled we’ll likely be posting about 2x a week versus 5. But fear not! We’re still powering ahead on SpitfireMom, as well as my collaboration with Vigilante Living and some guest posts here and there.

We hope you stick around…slowing down on anything Spitfiregirl is reaaallly hard for me to do. And I know there are a gazillion blogs out there to grab your attention, so we really appreciate all of your support!
